Adding Your Business Name & Address

If you want to add your business name & address to your account and websites, then you’re at the right place. Your business name & address makes you look trustworthy as a business owner and will help your customers trust you better. 

Read this guide to get the answer to your questions from the common ones to the uncommon ones.

Add your business name and address

To add your business name and address to your website, then please go to the website you want: 

  1. On your home menu, go to settings, go to online store, and then general.
  2. Fill your address and tax registration ID.
  3. Click on Save.

Your tax registration ID sets up credibility for you as it shows your business name and address on your emails and invoices sent from your store.

I don’t want to share my address

If you have a business address set up but don’t want to share for personal reasons or for professional reasons, then you can always have some other options that will still be as effective in setting up your credibility. 

If you don’t want to share your business address but still set up an address to look professional, then you can buy a PO box. The PO box will be set separately from your store address and will be used to receive emails and everything you need.

If you can’t buy a PO box, on the other hand, then you can use these other options:

  1. If you’re an artist, then you can ask the stores or galleries where you set up your work if you can use their address. 
  2. If you work with different people in a co-shared space or a creative space, then you can ask them if you can use the address. 
  3. If you have a friend who doesn’t mind sharing their address, then you can use theirs if they say yes.

Note: Don’t use a fake address for your business as it might be illegal or it might bring you legal trouble.

My business doesn’t have a name

Here at Avoori, we recommend you come up with a name for your business as it makes you easier to remember and sets up your online presence easily. But, if you don’t have a business name, then you can always skip it on your information and not include it. 

Once you come up with a business name, you can then include it in your business information settings.

I want to include my business information in my emails

You can include your business information on your emails as well. How? By creating a unique email template either using our emails template selection or a new one. Create the email and add your business information either on the header or footer.
