How to Change the Page Layout Structure

To change the page layout structure for all pages on your website, navigate to the Customizer > General > Page Settings. You can choose any of the four available options:

  • Right Sidebar
Your content area will be placed at the left side and your sidebar section at the right side of every page.
  • Left Sidebar
Your sidebar will be placed at the left side and your content area will be displayed at the right side of pages.
  • Full Width
You will have no sidebar in full-width page layout and only a content area. You can see the two vertical blue lines. That shows the actual content area (Page Container). The content area will be centered on the browser, there will be space (padding) at both the left and right side of pages.
The padding will vary based on your viewing screen size. So if you’re using a 14” laptop, you might not see as much space compared to a 20” LCD screen.
  • 100% Full Width
You will have no sidebar but a full screen (100% browser width) content area.
So if you use to browse a website from a laptop or even use a 32′ LCD screen for viewing the site, the website pages would still cover the full-screen size of every medium used.
